Haven't been here for awhile.
Yesterday, we went to the blueberry patch in Silsbee and then into Beaumont to visit the kids. Ian is really growing. Angie was at work so we missed her. Jon, Dyllin, and Ian were home.
That trip seems to get longer each time we go but we enjoy the visits.

Next week (21st) we go to San Diego for Nikki's graduation. The trip should be a new experience. Kathy and her family will also be there. We return on the 24th and Kathy, Jason, Toby, and Rosie come to Lufkin to visit awhile. We plan to have one of those "family gatherings" while they are here - maybe at the "store" in Beulah. The weather in East Texas should be rather warm for the London folks. The forecast for Friday, the 14th, is for temps in the 80's!!

I had to move two logs in the creek. The last big rain floated them in from somewhere. They were too heavy to pull out so I cut them in half and stacked them against the bank. Hope they will help stop the erosion. Had to use my come-a-long to move'em.

Mowed our lawn and the front lawn of the empty house across the street where the fire occurred several months ago. The inside of that house is gutted - only bare rafters and wall studs in the master bedroom. The lady living there (Linda) let the house go back to the mortgage company because the smell could not be removed.

Last Sunday, while at work, we had a funeral service at Sandflat Cemetery with the Rev. Ross Black officiating. Brenda sat with the "older gray headed ladies". HA!!

Good day!!
