Nikki and Sofie are in Eastern Virginia for the night - just a few miles west of Washington D.C.
They plan to arrive in NY tomorrow. The car needs to be returned by 11:00 a.m.
We have had a total of three inches of rain in the past few days. A BIG log floated down the creek and, of course, jammed against a grape vine near the house. I'll need to get my chainsaw and cut it up tomorrow. Odd, how the trees make it all the way to OUR house before they get caught in the creek and I have to remove them!!
I hope Nana Puddin doesn't recognize any relatives at the zoo Saturday. We have tried to keep that part of the family tree a secret.
Bye!!

I made a mistake once.......don't tell anybody. One Saturday when we lived in Tyler, Ross & I went to the zoo there....I was standing in front of the monkee exhibit watching them swing through the trees. I called out to Ross to hurry and catch up because I had found his family and his family tree. When he started walking toward me I turned and Lorraine and Ervin were walking toward us!! (I must have been a lovely shade of red) I told Ross "here comes your sister" and he said "Right, what happened, what is running loose?" It took a minute for me to convince him that she was there.
That pretty much has set the stage for all my zoo visits for the last 16 years.
Always Be Prepared....Show No Fear.
